My Story so far
My work is my passion.
Since I was 15, I've wanted to be a journalist. I wrote in my spare time, I recorded radio shows on tape and replicated presenters in my bedroom, some of whom later became my colleagues. I wrote for the Shrewsbury Chronicle in 2005 when I went on work experience there. The buzz of being published and telling a story never left me, it's only endured and enveloped me.

After achieving a BA Hons 2.1 in Journalism at Sheffield Hallam University I was soon working in the media at my favourite Radio Station, BBC Radio 5 Live, where I worked from 2014 - 2020 as a digital producer and broadcast journalist. Like many people, the pandemic changed how I approached work and made me re-evaluate what I wanted to accomplish in my profession, so I became a full time freelancer.

I've worked on the UK Podcast Gold award winning Tailenders since 2019 and still do 'til this day, which is a great pleasure and passion (its host Greg James being a radio hero I formed a friendship and working relationship with). After going viral with some comedy sketches where I intervened in Zoom interviews between Sky Sport's Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, I gained a lot of attention via Twitter and therefore a lot of work. Since May 2020 I've worked on, produced or presented on the following projects:

-
Producing all of Tailenders social media clips which have accumilated millions of views
-
Gone viral on several occasions from my own video content
-
Co-created, produced and presented the cult hit, Yourfest Podcast
-
Created, co-produced and present the cricket podcast, Murali End, booking some of the biggest names in cricket to come on such as Mark Nicholas and Chris Gayle
-
Produced a BBC podcast pilot
-
Got approached to be the digital producer for LGBTQ+ podcast, Homo Sapiens, where I increased the Instagram following to over 10,000 and led a re-brand
-
Commentated on football games that have been broadcast by the BBC
-
Worked with 11-29 Media as the sole producer, editor and social media producer for Alan Johnson, ex-SAS hero, Chris Ryan and The Happy Monday's Shaun Ryder's podcasts.

In two years I've accomplished more than many have in their whole career, and I'm only 32. If you want a passionate, skilled, innovative, friendly and easy to work with producer or digital editor on your podcast or radio show, I honestly don't think you can or should look any further.
